Yes Every Kid is a national education initiative based in Arlington, Virginia. The organization is focused on improving how learning works for students across the United States. By supporting policy change and promoting personalized learning, Yes Every Kid works to ensure that every student can access an education that fits their needs, interests, and goals. The mission is based on the idea that learning should be designed around each individual student.
Yes Every Kid had a clear mission and a growing presence in national education reform, but much of their policy-focused work was difficult for families to understand or engage with. They needed a story that made their purpose more accessible and grounded in real experiences. The goal was to explain the need for change in the education system and to show what student-centered learning could look like in practice.
We produced a documentary-style video that follows parents, students, and educators who are helping shape new education models. Using direct interviews and simple visuals, the video outlines the problems in the current system and shows how a student-centered approach can offer better outcomes. Created in partnership with Yes Every Kid and filmed with a focus on real families, the video is now used in national outreach efforts to raise awareness and support for education policies focused on flexibility, access, and personalized learning.
